Advent Assignment
An Advent Assignment has been posted on Google Classroom for your student. I am encouraging them to attend at least ONE special Advent service that is offered at our Parish.
Evensong – Advent Sundays at 6:00 PM at Immaculate Conception
It is a quiet time of prayer, readings and reflection lasting about ½ hour. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and confessions are available from 5:30-6:00 and from 6:30-7:00. The Blessed Sacrament is reposed at 7:00.
Rorate Mass – Advent Thursdays at 7:00 PM at Immaculate Conception
This Mass is celebrated with only candle-light. Fr. Gary celebrates at the high altar, facing the altar, and it is accompanied by Gregorian chant. It is a reflective Mass that emphasizes our earliest traditions of waiting and watching for the Lord to come again.
Fr. Gary time this week
Fr. Gary will speak with us Thursday, 12/11/14, at 1:30 in the St. John Paul II Chapel about confession. After that talk, he will be available for confessions for students who would like to use the opportunity.
